The hubby would rather NOT be knitting!

Last December, I got a license frame that said "I would rather be knitting". In fact, I got one each for my four knitting girlfriends. The hubby refused to put it on my car since every now & then he has to drive it. Mind you he is one of the most liberated men I know. But the license frame seems to be the tilting point. So while on vacation in Canada I had one of my wonderful brother in laws install the frame. No, not his brother, Badger. This was the brother in law who's house we stayed at while up there. Weeelllll, the other day I had to leave early for a meeting and that day he was going out to lunch to meet up with some buddies. Suddenly he's all "Go ahead & leave. I'll drive myself. blah, blah, blah, not ready, need to take shower blah, blah...". I didn't think about it until later that afternoon. He didn't want to drive my car to lunch. Busted! Rosey Grier is more macho than my hubby!

I once sold an entire jeep because of a bumper sticker that my ex-wife bought me.

It said "Driver Carries No Cash - He's Married!"

Was funny as hell while I was married.

After the divorce, it was just false advertising and a hazard to getting laid.

That jeep had to GO! LOL!

XO- Wouldn't just removing the bumper sticker been easier?

Amazingly enough, no.

It was easier just to get rid of the entire jeep.

Getting rid of the sticker would have required scraping and spraying and elbow grease...

Getting rid of the old jeep just required a couple of hours of negotiations and the EXQUISITE SATISFACTION of just showing up with a new jeep with no other conversation, explanation or "asking permission".

Priceless!
